help! engine bogs on 01 astro

my 01 astro 55k miles engine bogs down mostly in the morning when i take off or try to go in to the passing gear wtf!! or sometimes when i go into passing gear it will seem to wind out to long so i let of the gas and it shifts
any help would be great!

If you want to throw a part at it, start with the fuel filter. After 5 years and 55k they can get plugged and won't supply enough fuel under load or cold conditions.

It really won't matter. If you continue to abuse the engine and transmission by heavily loading it before it is warmed to full operating temperature, you won't have it very long anyway. You may already be seeing the signs of bearing failure.
