Timing problems

Hi i own a s15 and i recently removed my head or short block to do repairs on it. when i install back everything sumting was wrong

My idle was smooth but when ever i step on da gas it feels like i'm dragging another car behind me. and my boost wont go up to normal as in 0.7~0.8 bar. Its only doing 0.5bar. My car is totally stock..

Went to the workshop and they said its my timing and maybe i've position the cams wrongly. I have no idea what to do..

Pls advise...

hmmm if your timing was off it wouldnt idle smoothly, most of the time it wouldnt start. and youd be snapping valves if it was off enough.
if it was timing it would have to be spark timing for it to run when it was far off. is your check engine light on? my guess is something could be pulling timing from your ECU.

No my check engine light is not on. My friend adjusted my cam positioner and it was a bit better. i'm just afraid i'm doin damage to the engine while driving it around.

He said that when he twisted the cam positioner to the max my valves should. make noises but it didnt. Do you think thats the problem?? Maybe i adjusted it wrongly dats why its so heavy to drive....
