Could someone please help by providing English translations for items marked 1 through 6?

BTW why don't Acustion and Hassegawa provide international packaging!? :screwy: :grinno:

Many thanks :bigthumb:

Don't bother with trying to use online translation, or you will probably get those typically great results such as "Do only one of the following under the below. If you this do, it might work not as well as you think it might not work. This is the way only do it, and do it any other way will work not."

(that is a result I got a few years back on an external drive bay when translated from the website itself)

You should have 2 driveshafts (axles) and 4 boots, one for each end of the 2 axles. or am i wrong?

Maybe these sorts of things are different in Japan? :screwy:

Stevenski, I do hope you don't run out of little chrome ponies.

Just checked the pack - there's only one driveshaft~?!?!

Now, just to humiliate myself publically even further - what ARE theys boot-pulley thingys anyway? Where the heck do they go?? On the engine? I can't imagine that thay are for the wheels, but.....

MPWR - ask me again after I start loosing the little critters all over the workshop!! ;)

Boot is that rubber part that protects joint (homokinetic joint), you have one on the wheel side and one on the gearbox (differential) side.
This should be it :D

Those things you labeled '5'? They're constant velocity (CV) joint boots. One goes on each end of each drive shaft, so they look like this:

Make the extra drive shaft out of whatever round stock you have lying around.

Welcome to AF, MattRS2000!

Thanks for the welcome!

There is definitely only 1 driveshaft, it says "ippon" which means 1. I dont know why though.......:banghead: Good luck!

Is it possible that the other drive shaft is supplied with the kit?

Because you're supposed to cut it in half!

It is, but "i" means 1, the same way we use "uni", eg unicorn, unicycle, etc.etc.

No more Japanese lessons today!

I thought maybe there is already one driveshaft in the kit?
