T5

What is the best alternative to a T5 WC. Considering only standart ones.
It is to go with a 302 and should handle 350+lb 300 hp. Does a t56 will bolt on?
How long a T5 can last before popping?

Also it should be under $1000 used. For a volvo 200 series.

T5 should handle that as long as you can shift it properly.

What makes you so sure. I have seen people going thru several of them before swaping another one.


Is a there a bellhousing to receive a T56.

People run 11-12 seconds in the quarter with T5's. Not sure on the bellhousing.

I know you can get a bell housing for a TKO600 and they are cheaper than a T56. I am pretty sure you won't be breaking that any time soon.

I know they are rated to 500lb, still 5 spd thoug. Always wanted 6 speeds.
