The car is a 2003 Pontiac grand am gt. It was impacted with the curb about 15-20 mph on ice. Had a new wheel and tire put on also was told the hub bearing assembly was damaged had that replaced on both sides. After the passenger side was replaced now it has a loud clunking now from it sounds to be towards the center of the car or more towards passenger side. It happens when you turn and then turn in the opposite direction.

Check out the bushings on the a-arm, could have some worn out bushings, bad strut (if it does it when the strut compresses), or i've heard of something wearing out at the top of the strut tower (i think its a bearing up there), double check that the 3 nuts on top of the strut tower are tight.

I did the exact same thing a few years back, anyways I also got that noise, for me it was a combination of the strut and the uppper mount that caused the noise. You may have slightly bent the strut when you hit the curb like i did, which will cause it to go bad and make noises. hope that helps good luck
