Ok guys My radiator is cracked at the top drivers side corner and slowly leaking anti freeze. I have a few questions?
1. is there a better then factory radiator i can replace it with?
2. do i have to use dexcool (the orange anti-freeze)?
3. should i flush the system?
Thanks in advance for the help...

If I were you, I would get a radiator from NAPA or somewhere equivalant. I'd say away from Auto Zone for this one, and dealers will charge an arm and a leg. You do however need to keep using DexCool anitfreeze. Replacing the radiator would be a great time to flush the system. You can have a shop do it for fairly inexpensive (like $49 or so), or you can buy the do-it-yourself kit from an auto parts store ($10 or less). Hope this helps

You might look for a radiator shop which can change the "end cap" (I think that's what they're called). Anyway I had one crack on a Camaro I had, but everything else was OK. The guy put a new end on for about $30. I had to give him a look at it and he got the part a day or two later, and then swapped it out in about 30 minutes.
