New Aurora, electrical problem

I just bought a 97 Aurora. Love the car so far, but have noticed a couple of problems that may be related. The lights in the front doors (for the seat controls, etc...) do not work. All other interior lights work however. Also, the power door locks do notwork. I hear the relay in the dash click, but nothing happens at the actual motor. The remote is working because the security system works properly, and the remote trunk release works. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Jim

Sup. go ahead and check the wires in tha door opening. You have to pull the black rubber protect out the door and move it over to see if any of the wired coming from the door are cut. Somehow this is a normal problem for older auroras but an easier fix.

Thanks man,
I will take a look, but that seems like it would be a probable fix for one door, but doesn't make sense for ALL doors, unless all doors are routed through the driver door, which seems kinda unlikely. But, as I said, I will take a look.
And thanks,
Jim

Thanks man,
I am off this weekend, and the guy who owns the dealer where I bought the car is getting me the wiring diagrams from ALLDATA, so I am going to tackle this over the weekend.
Again, Thanks
