Damn on my way to work i made a right turn on a street and i didn't see a car coming because there was a semi blocking my view so when i saw the car i punched it well fuck next thing i know my rear goes left then right then left again, well i remebered from a show i watched that u have to keep the wheels pointing to were u want to go, well i kept it cool and i hung on and i didn't hit anything.

Lets say when i make a left and i give it some gas and it kicks into second my rear just swings a bit do any of you guys car do the same?

Yeah, I've managed to swing out my rear while punching it on a turn. Works better when the raods are wet. Good job avoiding getting rear ended, you did exactly what you were should to in that situation.

The 3.73's probably help in breaking you lose in the corners.... but yeah there is quite a bit of torque there in the frst 2 gears.. it doesn't take much and you can be facing the way you came from....

ok, now i got a story fot that kind of v6 also, lol. My dad used to have a 94 3.4 camaro with 115,000 on it and all he had done was blowmaster exhaust and i stoped in middle of the road and held the brake and stopmed on the gas and it spun pretty good. I was surprised for a v6 what it done. But my dad drove it like a grandpa all the time.

actually when it was running good it would spin really good in gravel or grass. up through 2nd gear.........but it started running rich and wouldnt hardly do 15 when it warmed up...........but the carb is in my bedroom awaiting a rebuild..my bedroom is more of a garage anyway..alot of ford and camaro parts in there..now if i could get my car in there i'd have it made

see that's why you need a T56.... not many people know how to drive a stick... especially women... and that means... no borrowing of the car

97cavalier
03-28-2006, 11:08 PM
or it means they want to learn how to drive a stick in your car, so they get it start it up, and they smash the gas and let off the clutch like a break pedal.

most people don't realize there is a parking brake to begin with.... and then 2nd... they stall out anyways because they dont know how to let out a clutch....
