Hey you got the car! Congrats on the purchase. I've heard that E36 M3s are a blast to own. That car is looking great. Looks like that meet was pretty cool, I like those Elises alot. Good luck with the car.

Any plans to mod?

Yea I got it last Tuesday. I am learning just how much of a blast they are. That yellow one had several mods. In fact it was gutted inside as if they weren't light to start with.

Yea I am planning on doing suspension mods maybe cams. I went and had the RTABs replaced and Ground Control shims added. I am looking at getting a set of Ground Control coil overs from someone returning their car to stock.

How is the E36 on size, interior wise?

I am in absolute LOVE with the E46 M3, but cant afford, so i am thinking of getting a E36. So my question is: Would I, being 6'4", be able to have enough leg room, head room, etc....?

THANKS

You should have no problems fitting in one. The E36 seems to be larger inside than the Mustang that I had even though it is smaller car over all.

Nice pics!

I take it the 98/99 estoril is yours... if so, sharp looking car! I like. :D

Have you had a chance to track the M3 yet? if so, hows it compare to your previous Mustang? (or do you own both now?). Either way, sweet ride.

Yea the 99 is mine.

I haven't had a chance to have it out on the track yet. I have been too busy lately and now its gotten to hot. The handling and braking are far superior to the Cobra. Thanks to the Dinan upgrades it does have more power than stock but it still needs some more. But I will mess with the suspension before I start to do power mods.

I was talking road course, not drag strip

Warm is good! Helps the tires stick (up to a point). Although I'll admit July events at Road Atlanta did get pretty hot.. :)

Yea I was talking road courses too. Its been the mid 90's for a couple of months now even broke 100 a few times already. I still need to replace the fan clutch so it doesn't over heat when I do go.
