What Is Tbc Circuit?battery Keeps Going Dead

I Have A 1998 S-10 And The Battery Keeps Going Dead Due To The Tbc Circuit Pulling Power. Every Two Days It Goes Dead. Can Anyone Help Me With This?please.

how do you know this? i can take the tbc fuse out and the battery dont go dead, but if i leave it out then the truck wont start.

ok, when i get to work tomorrow ill check the circut (i also own a 98) and check mitchel's words of wisdome for what it is

Man04,
I started wondering about this when I saw your post I also have a 98.The only acronym that I can see that fits it is the truck body control module but according to my prints that is fused through a 10 amp headlamp fuse.Maybe DM has checked at work by now.Good luck.If nothing else I bumped you back to the top.
