i have a 99 durango, and i've notice recently that it feels heavier. it feels like someone tied something heavy to the back and its dragging it. the changed is not really big, but you can feel it, as soon as you step on the accellelator, it feels like it takes forever to grab some speed. it wasn't like this before, does anyone ahve any idea to what it might be? im thinking of bad spark plug wires because i recently changed my sparkplugs, so i doubt is that. anyone else has anyother predictions as to what it might be?

Check to make sure brakes are not dragging. Clues would be a lot of brake noise or excessive black dust in the wheels or a noticable burnt smell after driving. Next how many miles? - if you're over 85,000 the catalytic converter may be plugging up and making a lot of back pressure. Also, make sure the air cleaner / air intake is not plugged in some way.
Thats my advice for what its worth, If have any "error codes" there might some more specific info on this page.

Also - If its a been a while since your last tune-up, A cap rotor and plugs are a good start. I wouldn't replace the plug wires yet unless they show signs of cracking or other dry rot.
