I'm just starting my 1/16 model of the 1957 Corvette Convertible, but I wanted to know if there was anything I should watch out for that is wrong with the kit, as I know how bad some of them can be. If you've got any pics of completed ones it would be great. Also, what was the standard, stock colours that it came in.

No idea on problems with the kit, I've only built 1:24 versions...
As far as colours:
Onyx Black 2189
Polo White 1273
Venetian Red 1320
Arctic Blue 487
Aztec Copper 452
Cascade Green 550
Inca Silver 65
Interior Color Choices were Beige Vinyl (1315) or Red Vinyl (5021)

I guess you have the old MPC kit. its nice, just watch the front windshield fit, it needs some work to get to fit.
