Hi I'm new to these forums, and I'd like to say I love that I found a place with such skilled artists. Anyway, I've read through the FAQ and just today I went out and bought a can of Krylon plastic primer. And as of right now, I'm trying to remove some paint off a model by using some 409 degreaser (not sure if it'll work, but hey why not give it a try). I have somewhat of a gallery of cars I've built, but I'm sure they'll start looking better once I use primer and such.

^that's my model car site. As you can see I'm not as much of a import builder as you guys, most likely because tamiya models are very expensive here. I was glad to build the ITR and have a change of pace for once (no driveshaft :)).

I have a few questions though:

1. Are there any 1/24 models of the pre 99 eclipse? You know the ones with smooth lines.

2. If you have viewed my site, then you might have noticed that my custom silverado uses stock wheels. I can't let it be so! I'm looking for a set of 1/24 scale 20" wheels with sleek designs. Any help?

3. I've had a few ideas in the past about fabricating a set of air bags for my models (straws and hot-wheels car pump anyone?), yet none work too great. I'm sure someone here has designed some sort of air bag/hydraulic rig, care to share your methods?

Thanks in advance. :D

1. check www.hlj.com
2. check www.hlj.com
3. I dont have a clue, I have never thought of airbags. You should make a car that as been in a crash and put airbags in it....

Also a few more questions:

I just recently started to notice that when I look at pictures of cars here, the windows look very clean and flush with the car. Are they placed in from the inside?

Ok and I think I understand the window molding technique:

Mask off any outside areas

Mix paint with thinner until somewhat runny. Place little bit on part of molding, then let it run around the molding until all covered, then repeat until dark enough?

1.) Nope, the only models you'll find are the Mitusishi FTO, the Japanese "equivalent" of the Eclipse.

2.) Hoppin' Hydross and Pegasus Hobbies make 20 " rims

3.) Lownslow is the resident low-rider expert here, if you want some hydraulics for your car
