98 civic power window broken

My window won't roll down anymore. Before it completely stopped working, it would sometimes work or not work. There was no real indication that the motor was dying because it didn't slow down at all. It just stopped working. I'm wondering if there is a loose wire somewhere. I tried looking for a loose connection, but when I took off the door panel, I couldn't even find the motor. I also couldn't find a DIY.

Did you check the fuses?

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I checked the fuses. They were fine. Then when I tried my window later, it worked. Then it stopped working about a month after that.
