whats needed to put in a turbo

i want to put a turbo on my 92 2.2L and i dont know if i should just get a whole motor or a turbo? and if i get a new motor am i going to have to replace the computer ?

well i would want some good power out of it if possible .. and i was wanting to try to spend as littil as possible but i do know that i will have to spend a good amount

You would get more power if you went with a super charger than if you got a turbo. for your money you get a better deal the cost starts at about $2k but you get almost 200% more power for your engine than with a turbo you get maybe 66% more.:nono:

You could get a junkyard turbo and intercooler for $200
Spend another $100 on plumbing and misc vacuum check valves turbo oil lines.

Get a boost gague, a wideband O2 sensor and an adjustable FPR.

Use your stcok ECU, and do pretty good.
