What exhaust would you recommend, price wise and also best sounding for a 3.8 v6 show car?

Flowmaster or MAC mufflers with long tubes.

forget the flowmasters, just get some summit racing knock-offs, they are the same thing just about half price

i have an 2002 3.8 that had a flowmaster with pipes branched out the rear and it sounded descent but then i put true dual H-pipes( like stock GT's) on their with Flowpack mufflers and i think it sounds real good. at low rpm it sounds almost identical to a 4.6 . Once you get above about 3500 rpm it gets that real high pitched almost formula one sound. personally im more for the throatty V8 sound and im very pleased with my exhaust. at low rpm it sounds MUCH better than stock GT's.

My 3.8 has flowmaster 40's on it. It cost me 150 even and it has a nice deep sound to it. At the low rpm range its really deep in the 1500 range.

its just ur opinon

a even fireing V-8 will never sound like a odd fireing V-8, im sure yours sounds good, but it will never sound identical to a GT
