ebrake light in 98 accord

the ebrake light on my dash turns on whenever im accelerating from a stop. ive checked the ebrake several times and there doesn't seem to be any problems with it. does anyone know why it turns on or how to get it to stop turning on or if there actually is a problem with my ebrake?

how does e-brake handle feels, is lose?
if it lose, it might lifts up a little under accelerating just enough for switch to close circuit and make light to come on.

to tighten e-brake you need to left cover in bottom of center console (armrest).
