speed blinkers????

yes i was wondering how to make my car ahve speedblinker w/o cutting any wires...i know on my old car all i had to do was change the bulb wattage and that worked...but in the g20 it has a bulb that only comes in one wattage(that will fit)...i was wondering if anyone knows how to make my car have speed blinker(not the strobe effect either..not that fast...but lets say 2 times as fast as stock)..??//// and i dont want it to mess up any electrical parts either...oh and luke......how does that wing go on??/is it easy for someone to still...cause i would be worried about that...:0)....why i dont wnat a aluminum wing but then agian they celan look:0P.....oh nad i have a 999 g20t...and the g20t badge is underneth the right side taillight....did anyones else coem liek this..i've notice everyones above the rear right taillights:0P thanks peeps for ur time:0)

Anyway, a cheap (ie free) way of doing this is to disconnect one of the bulbs on each side (the side repeaters would be the best ones). The remaining two indicators per side will now flash much quicker than before.

I'm not sure of the implications of doing this if you're pulled over by the police though... probably best to act dumb and pretend that the bumb has blown....

This shop is in LA I beleive it is www.autoindilgence.com you will find this item there along with a ton of other stuff these people only attend TRUCK runs wich are 3 day car shows with a huge party on saturday night with stripers and all they are held in the months of july, august, september sometime new years eve it get hot in AZ & the desert CA , BUT yeah try them out they have tons of lighting options among other items some really trick stuff.

BTW at the truck shows yes the have some fine strippers people come all the way from newyork & cananda just to attend & not all the car's are awsome we all mainly go there to party let loose , they have cruz nights were you can show off your car's performance or just the lighting effects, you think fast & furiouse was flashy HMM not close to these truck run's air baged everything you can think of!

Sorry www.autoindulgence.com got carried away so this device has settings to as slow and as fast as you want they specialize in car novelty's they will also if you send them your tailights they will make a mold of them & make them all clear or black them out or make them altezza style. last time I did this with an old car club we had 10 people with the same model car had it done it cost us about the same as the one that are on the market, but we were the only ones (sweet).

thanks red..:0) link didnt work for me but i hav found a way out and nope removing one of the bulbs didnt work..anyhow:0)......jsut change ur front blinker to a size i belieeve 94 or 96(knwoign the car is made by nissan therefore it would be like my old nissans speed blinker) it is and it makes ur blinkers faster(not strobe light fast) but very clean look:0).....jsut thought i would let ya know incase theres someone out there wondering at some point like i did:0)

i'm sure you're going to do this anyway, but imo fast blinkers look HORRIBLE. my friend has a mustang that has a fast blinker on the left side (she didn't do anything, it just does that). when i drive her car i never use that blinker, b/c i hate it so much. looks way too ricey for me. might as well put some horrible neons on as well.

I know this thread is a little old, but here is another way, that works fine.


You need to remove the flasher relay. It should be similar to this:

Open up the flasher and look for this resistor:

You will need to change this resistor to make your signal blink faster, or slower. The resistance is around 90K If you want to make your signal blink twice as fast as stock, then you would replace the resistor with a 45K.

The lower the resistance, the faster it will blink.
