Civic wheel spacers. What size is a good size.

I want a wider look because I have fender flares.
I want to use wheel spacers to make the wheels come out more to match the flares.

Well that would be hard to determine wouldn't it if you didn't measure the distance from your outside tire to the fenderlip. There is no one number when you flare your fenders. One person could have flared it 1" and someone else could have done 5".

i dont think they'd made a spacer that wasnt safe. they make all kinds for each different car, just choose from any made to fit your specific car. just remember to replace your studs with longer ones.

I know this thread is super old but I have somewhat of a similar dilemna. I have fender flares and want to know the pros and cons of going with a wider wheel as opposed to using wheel spacers? Oh, and asnrefugee, howd the spacers workout? post pics if you can.
