My best friend build me a 240sx !! stay or not stay ??

Well I have 4k, and my best friend told me, that he can build me a 240sx with 300whp, he can buy me a 92 240sx 5 speed( with out the engine ) for $500 and drop in silivia s15( 2900) 300whp and boost around 15-20 psi, something like that, he will do every thing for free acept I pay for the car and engine ( he is 240sx fan, and he only build and mod 240 ). I still dont want to do it, cause I love eclipse and wish to own a 4g63 turbo eclipse( still searching). What you guy think I should do ?.

depends, do you want awd or rwd? thats the biggest difference in my book. The 4g and sr20 are both great platforms so its all down to personal perferance

I looking for awd 97-99 eclipse or 97-98 tsi, I dont mind getting a gst. I dont know anything about 240, and some of my friend own a 240 and they all got wreck !! that y im kinda back off rwd.

I guess I would love to get my hands on a 240 with an sr20 swap for 4k. Then I would do a s15 conversion on it, they look sick. Get what you really want but IMO $4k for that 240 is a hell of a deal
