A friends 90 Cutlass Ciera 3.3L quite running going down the raod today. It has been running just fine to this point. 140 thousand miles. I did scan and got report of no problem codes. There is not any spark on all 3 coils. Any ideas?

Replace the crank position sensor. It will go bad and not throw a code.

I installed new crankshaft sensor, without removing Harmonic Balancer. I still do NOT have any spark.

could have I installed sensor some way improperly.
Is there a way to check if ignition module is working properly??

Thanks again for any advice and help.

Not really. If you changed the CPS then the ignition module would be the next item to check. Since the 3.3 does not have a cam sensor the ignition module may be bad and not triggering after it receives a signal from the CPS. The only other issue may be the ground under the ignition module. If there is a lot of rust and it loses ground it will stop working. Remove and clean it and see what happens. If it works you are good to go, if not then try replacing the ignition module with a new one.
