Figured this would be a nice parallel thread to the "products to avoid" thread....
Maybe we should have a few sections, such as:
Engine parts/performance upgrades
engine/oil additives
cleaning/detailing products
Many of you are much more knowledgeable than me, so feel free to chime in with anything you have found useful.....

i like those reusable oil filters. 3 reasons mainly
1) reusable
2) they are full flow filters
3) they look better

from what i understand fomr researching it, it seems quite cool. definitely something awesome for those of us running Synthetic. major cost reductions

they have a billet casing which the filter element goes inside of. this element is reusable and washable. also unlike normal oil filters which stop filtering when pressure goes over idle, they filter continuously. they also flow better than the paper filters and catch smaller particles. they usually run about $100 for cheap ones and $200 for the really nice ones, money well spent in my mind because they greatly lengthen the life of the engine.

I love the miguars stuff. Use it all the time.
Also WD40 is excellent as well. (I use it for wheel wells)
Also Mineral Spirits is good for taking off tar and other stuff from the back fender.

nothen special, but after all the moters ive seen apart, shell gas, got to be some of the cleanest burning out there
