Argggggg!!!!

Well, today I was pulling sensors, disconnecting vac lines and labeling crap, all thats left is to disconnect the shifter linkage, a/c compressor out, transaxle out, do I have to take out the PS pump?, and draining the rest of the fluids. I went to open my door and pop, the handle is in my hand....along with a small peice of a valve on the charcol canister...what is that and is it important?

Engine should be out tomorrow if I can get my hands on some jackstands because both advance auto stores are out of em until tuesday.

are you asking what the charcoal canister is? If you ar its an emissions thing that sotres HC vapors from the fuel tank and injects them into the motor to be burned and you dont need it if you arent worried about emmisions

Yeah thats the evap solenoid it might set of a cel if you don't have link, I have all my emmissions solenoids removed (egr, fuel, evap) so i'm not sure if it's the evp that set's it off or if it's one of the others. Moral of the story get dsmlink.

Yea I will be soon enough, I plan on getting rid of that crap if I dont need it.
