As if being broke as hell could've stopped me. Check this out guys: 18x9 ADR Version II rims with practically brand new tires: $550 cash from a local pick-up off craigslist.org :grinyes: :smokin: :naughty:

One small problem. That could be a big problem. The rims are 5-lug universal, BUT there was a very, very slight fitment issue: the bolts appear to be just 0.5 mm off the bolt pattern for some reason, almost as if the 114.3mm on the car were being forced to fit a 115mm. Wierd. They were taken off a BMW 3 series (2001), so I'm not sure if they meant to fit. The bolts very slighty bent as we torqued them on there...oh well scrrew it they look hot. Lol. If hub "falls off" on the freeway, it's been nice knowing ya guys. :smooch:

Nice wheels. What kind of rubber do have on those?

I'm running 235/40/18s at the moment. Barely clear the fronts.

Those look very nice!
Great Price too.

From what I can find online. The BMW Bolt Pattern is 5 x 120

I hope that don't create future problems for you.

Hah, and they almost match the rims you have on the eclipse.

I love that Eclipse, by far the nicest one I have seen. How much hp and what is the 1/4 on that?

Thanks man, it's cost me an arm and a leg so far :grinno:. The car hasnt been dynoed yet, and I still have to get some fuel upgrades, a bigger turbo, and a Shep tranny before I dyno it. I get wheelspin in third gear :icon16: at the moment, and if I keep driving like an idiot I'll probably have to kiss my old worn out stock tranny goodbye. I havent taken it to the track yet either (yes i know im lame) but all in good time.

Thanks, yeah you just can't beat the price. The tires alone cost him something like $900.

As for the bolt pattern, I'm even more confused now. The rims came of the guy's 2002 BMW 3 series...and that actualy pretty much means that they shouldnt fit my car, 5 x 114.3. I'm going to go to the tire place to morrow for retorqing; I'll have them take the rims off to see what damage I've caused since they were installed 60 miles ago. There appears to be absolutely no vibration while driving; accelerating or breaking. And yet, it is obvious that I forced them on there as the lug bolts bent a little inwards as we put on the lug nuts, which mean the rims bolt pattern was smaller than the car's bolt pattern, and the only thing smaller than the 114.3 within reasonable range is the 112 pattern. Blah. I better write a will incase the lugs decide to say goodbye on the freeway :uhoh:

VERY nice wheels man.

You said they were universals, right? well maybe the guy with the bimmer was using the other set of holes, becasue theres no way you could have gotten a 120mm pattern onto a 114.3...so you are probably right. The other set of holes (which you are using) is probably a 112.

if thats the case, i have heard of people getting the holes slightly ground out. you would need only slight elongation of the holes for it to fit properly, but i wouldnt reccommend getting that done unless you get it done at a GOOD wheel shop, like one that makes custom wheels.

Thanks, I'm a sucker for 5-spoke rims.

My friend who owns a performance shop said exactly the same thing: 112 on a 114.3 shouldnt be a safety concern, though grinding out the holes could be done to make sure everything is ok nevertheless.
