Hee I have just bought a 92 trans sport and I need to find its motor number for the purpose of registration.And in my district I know nobody to help me.Could you kindly help me find out:banghead:

Here is the info...but from a practical standpoint, I'm not sure it can be used...unless the engine is dropped off the car....may be with a small mirror...,flashlight, or a miniature web cam....please tell us...

I am not sure, but I think you only need the vehicle WIN number for registration. The location at a plate under the left front end of the windshield is typically for US cars. European and japanees cars have the WIN number "printed" in a frame part near the engine.
In Sweden the WIN number have to be printed into a frame part. For US cars, you have to make this yourseft before registration, if you buy a car from abroad.
