I'm looking at getting an MKII turbo. any idea on what liability insurance will cost per year? maybe someone who is paying insurance could tell me what they pay a year or 6 months. thanks...

There are a lot factors that determine insurance rates. Age, residence, driving record, how many miles you drive, etc.
Try one of the websites like Progressive to get an idea.

yea I already tried one of those, and I got an estimate of $2600 for 6 months under my name, but it wont be under my name, it will be under my dad's name, so hopefully the insurance will be around $1000-$1500 for 6 months, I was just wondering what people are actually paying for insurance on this car.
