Falling hatch...

I added a Wings West 3-piece spoiler a few years ago and ever since the hatch has barely been able to hold itself up. It's also really heavy to open and when it gets cold it won't even stay open.

Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?
I was thinking I could replace the (forks, dampers, not sure what you call them but I know they're SHOWA's) but I don't know where to get beefier units.

If anyone has any ideas please let me know. (My head will thank you too.:bloated: )

If you put on a spoiler a few years ago then it's got to be the hatch shocks just normally wearing out. The hatch shocks that are like stock should work fine.
