Question about keyless remote.

I just replaced the battery in mine now it doesn't seem to work.


Do they need reprogramming after battery removal (battery in key fob) ?!


Or maybe I have another problem.


I figured I'd ask here first before I try the reprogramming procedure tomorrow.

Try holding LOCK & UNLOCK down for 7-10 seconds to resynchronize the remotes before you go through a whole programming procedure.

Well jumpin' jerry it turned out I was putting the battery in the wrong way.


Silly me, thinking it went in label side up.


And it worked ! Without any re-programming.
