Are you just wondering how to reset the factory deck or what?

Hey man i also have a 93 vr4 so my code should work , the one of the original radio is 5472, then i bought another one brand new from ebay ( same model ) code 5679, i hope they work on your car.
if you ever get the error lock after 3 times on entering code just unplug your radio cables or battery, for like 30min or an hour, and it should be back rdy for code input

I hate to break it to ya but I highly doubt CHRIST75's codes will work (although they are worth a shot). I believe the only way to get the code is to call a dealership but they'll charge you for it. :(

long shot, but, do you have either the car manual or the factory stereo manual? guy i bought my 93 vr4 from said the dealer wrote the stereo code in both of those for him when he bought the car. if you have those, its worth a check. else, i think your gonna have to call Mitsu...

Christ75's codes wont work. And if you input 3 wrong codes, the stereo will freeze up, and you'll have to leave the key in the ignition, and the door open for an hour to reset it.
Pull out hte stereo yourself, and get the serial number off of it. When you call Mitsu, have that serial number and your VIN. Most dealerships will tell you to come in, so they can check, all they are going to do is charge you $70 to pull the stereo...so if you already have the work done, sometimes they will give it to you for free. If they refuse to give it to you for free, try another Mitsu dealership...eventually you'll find one that should do it.
