i got a burning smell near my rear tire

went to jiffy lube to get a manual tranny fluid and oil change
guy said it smells like my clutch, but my clutch is acting fine right now??

i seen steam coming from what look to be my rotors, but i've done no hard braking or anything??

anyone got a clue??

Is it possible that you accidentaly got oil or brake fluid on the rotor? Does it do it right away or once it gets warmed up? Otherwise all I can think of is a fried wheel bearing but I would think your car would be shaking something fierce. Hmm, thats a tough one.

it only shakes when the road is bad and i'm on a curve at higher speeds, like 65+
besides that its fine
no oil or fluid that i can think of, got on it.....

i guess its possible its my brakes... i just got my front ones done, actually, wouldnt be bad if it were my rear brakes, then i can upgrade
i just hope it isnt the clutch to get the same one i had its gonna run me about $800 installed

^hmmm I was gonna say like break fluid leaking or something, becuase correct me if I'm wrong, but break fluid is kinda corrosive, and it could be warping your rotors if it's leaking on them, and causing that wierd shaking too...
