clunk when turning 98 tj

I've done alot of good struggling trying to figure this one out.:banghead: at low or high speed when turning in either direction I get a clunk from the front end(passengers side I think) and a twitch in the steering wheel. I have replaced both drivers and passenger side u-joints in the front axel and the wheel bearing hub assemblies on both sides. the noise also happens when hitting bumps in the road. also you don't have to turn the wheel much to get the clunk, just swerve a bit and clunk. Any help on this would be great (my wife suggested a chevy) Thank you.

Check to make sure your trackbar (runs from the drivers side frame to the pass side axle housing) is tight.

The track bar is tight but the passenger side sway bar link is broken at the top. I had a buddy get under the jeep and push the frame up and down and noticed the broken part. Thank you for the suggestion on the track bar.

I had a '97 a few years ago with the same problem(repaired); are the sway bar links on the 98 the same 2-part design?

yup, i'd say sway bar end links. common problem, easy fix. get quick disconnects and open up your suspension travel for off-roading.
