94 blazer door latch won't open

have a 94 blazer I picked up for son. replaced driver door. new pins and inserts. was opening fine. now door won't unlatch :banghead: . got trim off and worked rod by hand, can see it working question is how can I get to the latch to get door open. 4dr can see latch pin from outside with back door open.
