2000 explorer
Does anyone know how to change the settings of the locks so that maybe they lock when you shift out of park and unlock when you shift back into park or something like that?? I know i can do that on my Grand Prix by doing a certain procedure...just wondering if there was any way to adjust the settings on an explorer.

If the car has keyless entry, you should already have autolock feature. Thats when you put it in drive and roll forward a few feet and the doors automaticly lock. The unlocking feature was never available in that car.
However, if you dont have keyless entry, you wont even have the autolock feature.
