Practice on an unpainted body, until you are comfortable with the technique. That way, you won't ruin your precious model, and you can try as many times as you want.

Now, add thinner to the paint to make ultra thin black paint. Use a very small brush, and pick up almost water-like paint. Gently touch the end point of a line, and let the paint flow along the groove itself. Tilt the body if necessary. Also, you might have to let the paint flow from both ends, or might have to drop some at the mid point. If the paint overflows from the groove, wait until it 's dried, then moisten a Q-tip with thinner and clean it.

When you actually do this on a painted body, use incompatible paint, so that the thinner won't dissolve the body color.
