so i stumbled across this game that has been played in NYC, Vancouver, Vienna, SF, and LA. it's called StreetWars. Basically it's like an assassin game. People sign up and give out information such as Name, phone number, home addy and work addy if they have one. Each person gets another person and they have to "hunt" them down. their work zones are safe but once they step a block away they are fair game. You basically hunt them down and shoot them with a squirt gun. once you have "killed" your target you acquire their target. it sounds pretty cool.
Here's a link to it. http://www.streetwars.net
i want to set something up like it where i live but have no clue how to go about doin it or what kind o f rules i would need. Just seein if anyone has heard of this or what you all think.

O, i heard about this thing. Some guy was playing it somewhere and he pulled the squirt gun out on this other guy and some guy watching thought it was a real gun and almost killed him. But ya, might be kinda fun if you know what your doing and you dont mind being stalked :)

I've seen this reported on maybe 3 times in the last few days. I'm starting one up soon, but only at the dealership since there are so many of us and we never go anywhere but to work.
I think we're going to do one where you give clues, but no names or giveaways like addy's. We all work within this lot, albeit a big ass lot, but still, it would be too easy then. This could really be a blast I think.
I don't get the idea of running around like an assassin and carrying a real looking water gun though. I know if someone ran up on me like that, they'd better know Jesus before they really get to know Him. That would be one of the rules too, no real looking guns, too many of us have real ones and permits, someone could get holy up in here.

Yup. It was pretty fucked up when the dude posing as a talent agent/recruiter got killed by the would-be actor also in the game.

Me and my friend Nadia were talking about these games, and ever since I first heard about it a long time ago, I've really wanted to play, so we decided to set one up ourselves.
Our first game is May 27th to June 10th, and we're capping the registration at 150 people to test out our rules and see how the game goes. If it goes well, we'll be ready to host 3 or 4 more games throughout the summer.
Just got the website up on the domain. Still have to finish the registration PHP scripting and set it up with PayPal to take credit cards. Thought I'd share what I've been working on, so here it is:
WATER SLAUGHTER: may cause hydrophobia (http://www.waterslaughter.com)

Yeah as mentioned above, this was in some dumb Tim Allen and Johnny Knoxville movie. The kid pulls hte water gun, and gets shot at by an overzealous drunk security gaurd.
Not to mention, this is really old, they did this in my dorm my freshman year of college with rolled up socks. Nothing better than crazed 18 year olds running around drunkenly stalking each other with rolled up laundry. :uhoh:

What else is there to know besides not to bring a wallet and to never drive in a car that's newer than 1995?
