How would they know how many horses you were running?
I mean just sort of a Dyno that is, but You could throw that by just not red lining it, short shift'n what ever it took to make it look with in limits.
Didnt know states regulate that sort of stuff, unless you are running without Cats in a Pollution controlled state, I dont see what harm it is, you'll just eat up the Premium fuel real quick and thats money in someones bank. just my :2cents:

How do they prove your HP??
That seems dumb.
I have a couple friends here that drive 700+ RWHP F-Body's on the street.
I am looking for 500 RWHP all motor and will be driving mostly on the street.

I can tell ya that in Delaware theres no limit to HP, streetwise, but it all has to be contained under the hood, no shit sticking up like blowers and whatnot.

Turbos:

http://www.force-fed-fabrications.com/index2.htm
Superchargers:
http://www.rsmracing.com/catalog.htm
Those don't ADD 450 horsepower. With those and a TON of other motor mods....you can hit 450 horse.

the guy i know from washington has a 400hp 3000gt, he said he got pulled over and they gave him a dyno appointment for the next day, he thought it was halarious, he said it was like his car was on trial, and a different guy drove it on the dyno, told me after that it was making 429, so he was happy, 29 more horses then he thought he had lol

lmao, it's funny when someone gets there car on the dyno and someone is really trying for the "best" result so they can post it at a show or something, so they call up the gimp dyno guy who can get 20 more horsepower out of anything, lol.
I guess if it takes skill to 1/4 mile the dyno can have the same skill, right.
I'm excited to see that turbo site. I want to put an LB9 in my 944 and that turbo kit would probably fit under the modified hood.

Dear 200 horsies , please patented your power secrets and put them on the market so we can all benifit from them . The power you can make is unreal . You will be rich very soon with this kind of knowledge . I hope it only works on domestics , not rice burners . Rob

In NY you can have all the horsepower you want. You just can't violate the emission laws for that particular car. If you do, and get caught, you may pay a federal fine of $1500 per incident (according to my mechanic who inspects my family cars, but I have not seen it in print) and you will need to pass emission tests to continue driving the car (which means bring it back to original). That's why I am considering only pre-'70 collector cars in the future.
