racial profiling

I hear those words a lot from the media these days. I was just wondering if others share my feeling that the same people complaining about our security services focusing on young men from a certain part of the world are the ones that force kids to bubble in their race on every academic form? If so, which is the greater evil between hypocrisy and stupidity?
