Glad I made the switch

I posted a while back about my 3G getting flooded in katrina. Well, i replaced it with a 2006 RSX type S. (already paid off :grinyes: ) I am so glad I made the switch from Mitusbishi to Honda. Ok, before you guys start hating on me, im just saying, it can't be denied that the quality, peformance, and looks of the sportier honda line is far superior to that of Mitsubishi. I can say this because I have owned both. Yeah yeah, i didnt have a GT or whatever, but there is something about my RSX i just love. The ride quality is EXCELLENT, aftermarket is crazy, performance is faar superior, and I just love the looks. Ok, y'all may see me as a traitor, but i used to be so closed minded toward hondas, but now, I have seen the light :) haha

your right about hondas being "superior"- they do have reliable engines, an abundance in aftermarket products, and what-not. it's just a preference i guess. nobody hates you. im glad you found a car your consent with.
but i wouldn't have gone with the rsx-s i read in honda-tech that there not what there all hyped-up to be. i would have gone the gsr rough then turboed it. it would spank a rsx type s. but happy driving to you.

or course a GSR turbo would spank a RSX-S... i wonder how a turbo one of each would do though

i'm glad you like your car, and it is a tough choice b/t torque and the revving power of the type S ... i'm glad you found what you wanted!

i say the rsx-sb turboed would beat the gsr turboed. i hate to admit it though.

its all about what kind of car you like. personally i love my eclipse, it is the best ride i have ever had. there are minor probs here and there but are worth it for the quality of ride u get. my friend has an rsx type s and it is waaaay faster then my eclipse however he has had it for about a year now so he has had a lot put into it. if i was to go with a honda, it would be an rsx type-s.

he didn't have a gt or anything yet he's comparing the mitsu to the honda? is he aware of the power difference between a non-gt/gst 3g eclipse and an rsx-s?

"hey guys, i just dumped my civic for a corvette, wow, chevy must be better!"

i would like to burn mine :banghead:

the best ride i ever had was in a 1991 Galant VR-4. and it rarely ran for more than a month at a time before someone fixing it. this last time was THE last time, everything was done, and some stupid 16y/o girls crashed into it trying to beat a yellow light.
