HELP! '92 Grand Prix Problems...

Okay, I've got a '92 Grand Prix, 3100 V6...The gas gauge stays at 3/4 at a constant, and doesn't move. Due to this problem, I've ran the car out of gas a few times...I'd really like to get this fixed, but I'm not exactly sure where to begin. I know that a common cause of this problem is a bad ground at the fuel pump, but I want to verify this, as well as acquire other information. Any help or information that you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It sounds like a ground or a bad fuel level sensor. Your year requires dropping the gas tank to access the fuel sensor (97-up GP's have an access panel in the trunk).

Thanks for the info. I know that the tank has to be dropped because there is no access hole. That sucks. Anyways, thanks again. I'll be checking it out as soon as the weather gets warmer here.
