civic front brakes?????

Ok here is my question: If I push my brake pedal all the way down only the right tire locks up and skids, and that makes the car pull to the right. If I don't lock them up it does not pull at all. Is this normal or do I have to bleed my brakes??? Thanks for your help. stefan525

Correct me if I am wrong...please :)
It could be 3 things...
Design
1) This problem used to go back to the early Honda/Rover designs of 1990+ in the civics and 414's...
The problem is that the brake line to the right wheel is closer to the servo than the left wheel and fluid resistance is less on the right and so power to your right brake piston is stronger than your left one.
2) You could quite possibly have a damaged(weaker) damper on your right side and so constant surface traction is less, making skidding easier
3) You may have a harder compound tyre on the right? (I fear cross-mixed tyre configs!) or a one which is badly or the tracking is out, with less rubber on the road, creating a better chance of skidding?
