Adjustments to Bose Amp?

Just got a '99 Intrigue with the Bose system. I'm changing out those nasty POS factory speakers, but was wondering if there are any adjustements that can be made to the amp? I don't see any Gain, Bass, or Treble options on the amp. Also, does anyone know how powerful this amp is? Am I able to add an additional amp to this system?

I don't think there are any adjustments, as most factory-equipped gm vehicles never have things like that. Although it is said to be a bose amp, don't expect it to be high power, as the speakers are still cheap papers ones that don't need much energy to drive them. I would say maybe 200watts max, but I don't know. I know the chevy w-bodies have a 200 watt amp that looks much like our bose ones, but has no brand labeling. As for adding another amp, it is possible, but I don't know how easy it'll be. On GM Class 2 radios w/bose, the volume control actually changes the amp's output, not the input gain. However, on the older e&c models, I'm not sure. Do a multimeter test to find out. There are interfaces that can be hooked up to a gm-delco-bose radio.
