Maybe someone can help. I hit a pretty big chunk of ice yesterday, it was like hitting a stump and 20 mph. When i got to where i was going, about 1/2 mile later the car dies. I drove it home and it died 2 more times at low RPMs. Today i took it to Auto Zone and tested it for codes and i got P0132 02 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (bank 1 sensor 1), P0133 02 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (bank 1 sensor 1) and P0141 02 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (bank 1 sensor 2). I static tested both sensors with my ohm meter and they tested fine, they should be between 4-7 ohms. They both tested 5.6 ohms.

My question is does anyone have any ideas? Could it be the PCM? Maybe a ground? I don't know, something must have jarred when i hit that bump nothing else is wrong with it, just doesn't want to stay running at low RPMs. Thanks, Rob

Update:

So, i took in to the shop today and they tested it and said it was the 02 sensor before the cat. They replaced it and said it was running fine. I picked it up and drove it home, much to my surprise it began to do the same thing it was doing before i took it in. So i just paid $150.00 for no reason. I called them back and told them it was still doing it and they told me that it might be the tranny! WHAT?? How is that possible? Does anyone know what it could be?

Do you still have the same three trouble codes ? P0141 is a downstream sensor heater failure code . Replacing the upstream sensor would not eliminate this DTC. I would have a good look at the wiring harness for damage .

I took it back and then found a ground that wasn't connected to anything. They said that it was causing the upstream sensor to go bad. Now it's running fine, im just getting a clunking type thing with the tranny. Any ideas?
