ok i finally fixed the cams and i took the car for a drive and shortly into the drive i found out that i cant shift into fourth gear and somtimes it grinds in 3rd.does any one know what it could be? :banghead: {i bet the f***ing tranny is shot}:banghead:

Sounds like ya got some synchros going bad. If you would like to make it shift better without spending a lot of money right now put some Synchromesh tranny fluid in it. It works wonders. :)

What's the difference between syncromesh vs. syncroshift fluid? Cause in my 30k mile thread, you guys said for me to use syncroshift.

As far as I know they are the same thing. On the bottles though, it says Pennzoil Synchromesh... I think the other is called BG Synchroshift and thats why they said to use Synchroshift. Shepherd told me Pennzoil is the best for our trannys though. :wink:
