hi,
im new, so if im posting wrong..im sorry.
anyways.
The cruise control died on my Cav about 2 months ago.
All the other controls on the stick work, but the cruise.
I noticed there was no fuse for the cruise, so now im out of ideas.
anyone have this happen to them? how did u fix it?
Also, when goin over a speed bump, or bumpy road.
I hear a noise, sometimes a knock, and sometimes a noise you
would hear from springs. Hard to describe...
Anybody know what this might be??
I know the struts need to be done...but the pockets
draw empty. Haha.
Thanks everyone.

Don't know about the cruise control but the clunking sound is probably the sway bar end link bushings. GM has a TSB on this. I got a kit for my old 1993 from Carquest Auto Parts and the clunk went away.

make sure your engine mounts are good... and your springs arent worn out and still working.... ive had problems like that when i braked... they sell cruise control motors on ebay, for like 5 dollars... oh and if its missing the fuse, go to a pepboys or auto store and aske for the fuses for cruise control box.... i just got my radiator done like that, the stupid fuse for the fan died... hope this helps
