Need Intermediate shaft bearings for 99 Passat

I have a 99 Passat 1.8L Turbo that needs intermediate shaft bearings. The dealer doesn't sell the bearings and says they only sell the new engine block. Does anybody know of a bearing that will work to replace the factory bearing?
