D16Z6 Skunk2 Stage 1 camshaft
Skunk2 Intake Manifold
dc catback EXHAUST
dc 4-1 racing headers
skunk2 test pipe
k&n air filter on cheap intake pipe?
I HAVE ALL OF THESE MODS I JUST DONT HAVE MY CAM YET.
THIS IS WHY I ASK LAST WEEKEND I BEAT LS INTEGRA (1990).
then i put my s2 intake manifold on then the next weekend i lost to it.
my car is only used on weekend what wrong with my car and will it be faster with the cam?

The intake manifold made you lose power. You don't have enough modifications to make use of the new air flow. Even with the stg 1 cam, you're probably not going to be able to push enough air to make use of the IM.

So where did you get put the second HEADER?
And you need to get your car tuned with that new intake manifold. Buy a VAFC, or get a CROME chip or something, but you need to have your Air/Fuel Ratio corrected.
As for how many cars you can beat... Not many. Do the following modifications, and you'd be able to hang with B16 EGs.
-ZC Pistons - Will bump your Compression Ratio up to about 13:1, figure for every CR you increase, that's about 14hp, so increasing from stock Z6 CR to 13:1, you're looking at a quite a few horsepower increase.
-Single Layer Head Gasket - Will bring CR up even more.
-Port And Polish. - Send the head to RLZ ENGINEering and get a Stage I PnP for a few hundred dollars.
-Crower Valvetrain - Will handle the new power load nicely.
-Blueprinted and Balanced Bottom End - I've been charged $525 for my Type-R, so D-Series may be cheaper, it may not. But that was for pistons installed, balanced crankshaft, extended/shot peened rods, and reassembly.
-VENOM VX1000 Nitrous System - The system is RPM or manually activated, and it's tapped into your A/F Ratio readings, so if the system detects the engine running too lean, it will automatically cut the flow of Nitrous... Pretty handy, huh?
From there you'll need a VERY good tune, I'd recommend CROME, or Uberdata, or a system like that. If you're in the North Carolina region, I'd highly recommend Projek Tuning out of Jackonville, NC... I won't let anyone else touch my setup.
Anyway, after that, you could easily see 13 second passes.
Now ask yourself: Is it worth all the trouble to make my D-Series more powerful?
If you really don't want to spend all of that money on making a weaker engine stronger. Just swap to a strong engine, which will have much more potential, and will accept modifications better. That's my advice.

wow you are wrong about needing to have all those mods just to keep up wit a b16. my friend and i bought a 91 crx dx the only mods we put on it were:Skunk2 Intake Manifold,skunk2 test pipe,91 ls ecu, accord injectors,89 crx si stock camshaft. and that was it smokin b16s, b20s, ls vtecs, ls integras, eclipes awd turobos and many other car but then there was no more racing for about a week because the car got stolen and the only thing they took were the stock parts i had left in the back of the car and some dog food the stock part was what was what i took out to put in those mods i had posted on the top of the page yes we did race the car with all of the parts in the trunk? sorry i dont know how i got into this whole story but it looks like one thing led to an other, hahahahahahahaha, sorry its just that iam kind of high right now bye bye-------------------

... Maybe don't smoke a blunt before you type again, huh?
And you're talking about a CRX, not an Si/EX EG (Considering you're not swapped). And I will NEVER believe for one instant that you were beating GS-Xs with that setup, NEVER. Under one condition, the car was blown up, or had a driver who was just learning how to drive manual transmission.
You do relize that those cars stock run very low 14s, if not 13s 100% stock, right? And you're telling me with those few dinky bolt ons, you're running those times? Right, ok.
After that point in your story I couldn't understand one thing you said, so I'll stop here.
