hey guys.. my rockford sub to put lightly sucks.. i was thinking of rejuicing it with another amp, but does anyone know the power handling capabilities of the factory sub??? if i run it with a punch 100, you guys think it can take it?? thanks for the help

well, it might handle it, but i don't think it'd be worth the money. its just a little eight. that thing isn't gonna hit like you want. if you don't want big bass i would recommend getting a couple of tens. nice tight clean bass, but not really deep and blinding. but i dont think it'd be a good idea to amplify the eight....but its up to you dawg....i might be wrong.
