Cleaning air filter

i have a short arm intake and im looking to clean the filter tonight, but its 2 late for me 2 run to autozone to grab some cleaner, anything household i can use 2 clean the filter so i could have it dry by 2morrow

all what shall you do you have to press it with air from inside the filter to let the air go outside the filter against what happen when the filter is bolt on
and never use water.
