Another problem with my 94

Besides the oil leak, slight play in the steering, and the past heater core incident, my Bravda seems to be sagging in the front passenger side at times. It feels like the car is cocked to the side and is really noticeable on slante strrets, but even in my garage I can see that the right front side droops occasionally. But other times it sits evenly again. I know the shocks areo ld, but the springs seem pretty good still. Plus, I know that the whoel car needs new shocks, since when I bounce it, it squeeks a little and continues bouncing for a while. So do you think shocks will fix the sag or not?

I shouldn't say it droops, more like the shocks seem to not bounce back much on the right side. As if they don't have enough tension. I checked and their just old AC Delcos, so I definitely need some new ones. When I go to replace them, do they just bolt on?

I just looked at my '92 and the shocks do just bolt on. Leave the vehicle weight on the wheels because that'll keep the springs compressed...use ramps designed for our Bravadas weight if you need extra room.

Chris is right, you need to keep the vehicle weight on the springs. if you need to remove the tires to get to the shocks lift the vehicle and put jackstands under the axel and lower the jack to compress the springs. procedure shown here:
