Hey, Waasup, I'm new here, just figured I'd come and say my hellos before I go off Post-whoring like an SOB
First off, Despite my name, I don't own a Skyline R34 GT-R VSpec II, But if anyone wants to give me theirs I would be a happy camper. What I do Own is a 1987 Ford Tempo, Its not much to look at... or drive, but I think shes got some major Potential as a sleeper if the right Touches are put on her.
What my plans are, Is to rip out the, for all intensive purposes, Useless 2.3L Single Cam POS engine, and to replace it with a shiny new 2.0L Twin Cam Zetec, and then throw a turbo/Intercooler kit on it, I'm thinking I can get 200HP to the wheels before i go messing around Internally. I Know what your thinking, and yes, I am crazy, but I have the whole thing Planned out. For the most part, my biggest problems will be: The Mounts, and The Sensors. I know a Zetec will fit due to the logic that an Escorts Engine bay isn't any bigger, yet the ZX2 has a Zetec.
anyways, I'm just randomly talking so shout your comments, questions, suggestions this way and i'll read them

Firstly, welcome. Secondly, before you go doing all that to a car that's "not much to drive or look at", why not just save the cash and buy a car that has 200 hp stock?

well, what would you do if an ugly POS tempo pulled up next to you at a Red light, Challenged you, and then proceded to wax your ass off the line... providing of course that you were in a Civic or an RSX or something below 200HP, plus, 200 is just the start to me, I want to, eventually, pull 12s or 11s in this thing. (I'm not a F&F Junkie, these are my actual goals)
It would be... the ultimate sleeper:devil:

Welcome, R34. The guys around here are great at making newbies feel welcome and they even provide a rare breed of entertainment, many with a New Zealand flair. Make yourself at home. I'll be seeing you around.

Eh, well, I would drive normally as always. I'm not a racer, that should be saved for the track. Oh, and I'm in a G20, which provides an ass-waxing 140 hp, TO THE TRANNY. :bloated: Well, if a sleeper is your goal, then an old Tempo and a few thou $$$ should do the trick.

You're right, the screenname and the avatar don't exactly go together. But, on the flip side, it stuck. The significance of a rose is a personal one, known only between me and another member. I've tried a few others on another message board, nothing else did it for me. :)

Somehow it is refreshing to see someone who is loyal to their avatar..
roses are wonderful plants, but they do attract parasites...and the harder you cut them back, the stronger they return. They smell sweet, their faces are soft and pretty, and they can defend themselves with sharp thorns where neccesary....but left untended, and without support,a simple gust of wind can leave them shattered....but not forever....the roots of the rose are strong, cut the wood back, and it will always bloom again.;)

I know Gonthrax! :eek::eek:eek::eek::eek:eek:
Actually though, lave from a volcano brings forth such rare and beautiful flowers grown only in the rich soil of lava making them unique and exquisite in such a way that's undescribalbe.
That's way Hawaii and some other volcanic regions are so magnicently colorful when looked at.
The soil also makes good wine in Italy! :D

I know a Zetec will fit due to the logic that an Escorts Engine bay isn't any bigger, yet the ZX2 has a Zetec.
anyways, I'm just randomly talking so shout your comments, questions, suggestions this way and i'll read them
First off, everything you said about the Tempo I can relate to. Before my ZX2, I had an '89 Tempo. Although not fast and definitely nothing to look at, they are reliable and great for snow...
Second, if you like the ZX2 and are on a budget, just go for one. I got mine in August, total cost $8280, used '99. Definitely better than a Tempo ;)

I for one don't mind people replying to old post's. Just so you don't do it like RockyV did awhile back. That was pretty annoying. But the mods don't like any old threads brought back, so you shouldn't do it if you don't wanna be banned.

Don't worry bout' it. I for one don't see what the big deal is anyways...
Say you can across an old thread about your favorite car magazine. Well, you wanted to share, so who are you hurting replying to it. But a mod will come through & tell you to start a new thread about the subject so as to have only current members responses in it. Well, doesn't that waste bandwitdh? Just my opinion.:grey:
